Meet Diane Cape, Director of Operations at A Helping Hand Home Care

Diane Cape, Director of Operations at A Helping Hand Home Care, shares her heartfelt journey and passion for providing compassionate, dignified care to families.
Meet Diane Cape—leading with heart, compassion, and a deep commitment to home care.

Hi, I’m Diane Cape, and I have the privilege of serving as Director of Operations here at A Helping Hand Home Care. I’m honored to be part of our family and to walk alongside a team that shares the same heart: providing care that is rooted in compassion, comfort, and trust.

My journey in home care began 27 years ago when I first served as a Director of a Home Health agency. After marrying my husband 20 years ago — a Hall County native, born and raised — I stepped into a new industry, but caregiving never left my heart. Most recently, I cared for my beloved mother-in-law during her journey with dementia—an experience that brought me full circle and reignited my passion for home care. That season of life left a lasting mark on my heart and reminded me of the importance of walking alongside families in our community as they care for their loved ones.

For me, home care is more than just a service—it’s a calling. I believe every individual deserves to age with dignity, to feel safe and supported in their own home, and to know they are never alone on their journey. That’s what inspires me every day, and it’s why I’m so committed to building strong, lasting relationships with the families we serve.

During our journey together, my hope is to keep you informed, encouraged, and connected. I’ll be sharing updates about our agency, helpful resources for families and caregivers, and stories that highlight the difference compassionate care can make.

Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and trusting our team with what matters most—your loved ones. Together, we will continue to create a circle of care that makes home the very best place to be.
